We are pleased to announce the exhibition of a Swedish ceramic artist, Ingrid Unsöld at the restaurant, RIVERSIDE CLUB in Nakameguro, Tokyo. Ingrid Unsöld, who designs and makes ceramics in a studio in Stockholm, attracting the attention of Swedes who have a discerning eye for design and interior.
In this very first full-scale exhibition in Japan, we will introduce tableware and flower vases, representing Unsöld’s signature works.
Each item in the same series has subtle differences in colors and patterns, that appear due to the combination of clay and glaze. Even the designer herself does not know how the pattern will turn out until she opens the kiln. A welcoming of individuality and diversity as well as non perfection. Unsold tries to share values of humanity through her craft.
